An established residential and parkland area, Turvey Park is a popular inner-suburb of southern Wagga Wagga due to its close proximity to the city centre. Established in the late 1930s, Turvey Park is bound by the main southern railway line in the north and the edges of Willans Hill Reserve to the east. Close to the Base and Calvary hospitals, it houses a number of quaint older style homes, synonymous for their ornate high ceilings and lead light windows.
