Probably most well known for being home to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base, Forest Hill is east of Wagga Wagga and is approximately 10km from the CBD. Originally developed to support the families and employees of the RAAF Base, it now caters to families, renters and investors, and is conveniently serviced by a shopping centre, school and service station, with a new sub-division providing larger more modern homes. Although technically its own suburb, Forest Hill is considered part of Wagga Wagga.
